My
love of music started at the age of 9 with drum lessons.
Since this age I have been involved in different types
of musical performances, which have only strengthened
my skill for drumming and my passion for music. I have
learned to connect with an audience by communicating my
music through them. One person who was a great inspiration
for me was John Dobson. He was a teacher and motivator,
constantly challenging me to refine my skill and open
my eyes to new genres and styles of drumming.
I
use drums to express myself emotionally and physically.
I believe that enthusiasm and technical skills can make
or break you as a drummer. With the help of Jim Hopson,
my friend and sound engineer for the first studio album
entitled “Bloodline”, he has taught me discipline
so I can bring forth the best musician within myself.
I believe that my music is a reflection of my musical
influences and demonstrates the capability that I as a
musician can expose.
I
have a great appreciation for all my family and friends
who have stood by me and encouraged me to continue my
passion for music. I hope everyone one enjoys it just
as much as I enjoyed creating it.
